Washington Co. Sheriff WI - Shop With A Cop 2014

Law enforcement members of Washington County Wisconsin set up a magical evening for underprivileged children in our community. We depend upon donations to help pay for things like wrapping paper, prizes, children’s meal, and gifts for the families.

All children have been selected for 2014.  No other applications will be accepted.

Dear Friends,

On December 11, 2014 the Washington County Sheriff's Office sponsored the 12th annual "Shop with a Cop" program. The event allowed underprivileged children from Washington County to spend a fun filled evening with Washington County Law Enforcement Officers and volunteers. Donations are now being accepted to help as many children participate as possible.  Contact Mary Woerner at 262-335-4386 or click on Email Mary

The program involves officers and volunteers from various law enforcement agencies throughout Washington County that donate their time to make the event a success.

Prior to shopping, children enjoy a meal of hamburgers and hot dogs at the West Bend Moose Lodge. Each child is provided a gift card to be used to purchase Christmas gifts for their families at Wal-Mart. The gift cards are purchased through donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.

After shopping, everyone returns to the Moose Lodge for snacks and fun. The children play games and win raffle prizes while volunteers wrap their gifts. Santa even stops to greet all of the children.

This year's applications are closed.  We are able to support 60 children in this year's program.
