National Command and Staff College Graduation

Washington County Sheriff Dale K. Schmidt is proud to announce the graduation of two staff members from the National Command and Staff College’s, Command and Staff Leadership Program, Session # 002.

Lieutenant-Shift Commander, Robert Stuesser and Corrections Sergeant, Benjamin Rozewicz completed the eight week program September 21st. The Command and Staff Leadership program consists of six weeks of on-line course work followed by two weeks of classroom work.  The program was hosted at the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, and brought to Wisconsin in conjunction with the National Sheriff’s Association.

The long-term goal of the program is to add to the leadership skill sets of each participant, and also to contribute to the body of knowledge of law enforcement through the completion of significant foresight-based research.

“I want to thank Lt. Stuesser and Sgt. Rozewicz for their hard work in completing this program.  Their individual efforts in this program brings more knowledge and leadership skills to the Sheriff’s Office as we perform our duties to the Washington County Community.” ~ Sheriff Dale K. Schmidt
